Troy's passion for Vanderhall vehicles began when he first saw a Vanderhall Venice in the parking lot of a hotel during a motorcycle road trip and was immediately drawn to its classy, retro, open-wheel racecar-inspired design. Months later, after renting a friends Vanderhall for a day and experiencing the power, handling, and unique side-by-side seating, Troy and his wife Elizabeth were hooked. They soon purchased a barely used Vanderhall and began immersing themselves in the Vanderhall culture.

Troy's technical expertise with Vanderhall vehicles developed quickly as he applied his lifelong practical experiences of working on his cars and his racing karts, tracking his full-sized sports cars, and instructing others in the art of high-performance driving. Shorty after acquisition, he began making improvements and modifications to his own Vanderhall, which caught the attention of other owners in his local group. They began asking Troy for advice and assistance, recognizing him as one of the top technical experts in the regional Vanderhall culture.

Troy's background is in the Home Entertainment Technology and home automation industry, running his own company, InterActive Home, since 1999. That continuing endeavor provided him with the flexibility and financial means to invest in his Vanderhall hobby and become deeply involved in the community.

Troy emphasizes that these ARE still motorcycles in terms of exposure, risk, and physics and emphasizes that owners need to be prepared with the proper mindset and skills to control them.
